As we were not travelling for the most of the June holidays and I know they will be pretty restless at home and I needed some peace and quiet at home for a busy work week, I decided to turn to Newton Show Camp as their camps are always fun and fulfilling for the boys. In fact, this is their 5th camp with Newton Show you can read more about their experiences in the past camps here they have done Harry Potter both Science and Maker, Multi Activity and Newton Lab, they have practically grow up with Newton Show especially small C, who started attending their camp since 5 year old!
I asked the boys to look through the entire lists of camps this Summer (see below), and they chose the multi STEM for a change coz small J wanted to make lava lamp, in fact they have so many different camps, it is so hard to choose!
Day 1 – Light-up
Learning all about electricity and the inventors that created/discovered electricity such as Thomas Edison and Nicola Tesla, create and decorate your own light up wands, draw your own city map and light it up using LEDs, using electricity circuit card
Day 2 Science
Making your own lava lamp, make your own wooden dinosaur,
Day 3 LEGO
A full day of Lego fun – create own car, house of the future, earth quake simulator
Day 4 Engineering
Create suspension bridge, make their own wooden jeep (bring home) , makeway competition,
Day 5 Robotics
Dash robot challenge, ozobot wonder robot , Botzee robotics , Kami Gami game
This is truly one very fulfilling camp as there is never a dull moment, or a boring day as every camp day is so so different as it is a multi activity STEM camp from robotics, Lego, Science, Engineering, there is a different theme everyday. Even though Newton Show has started out as the pioneer science camp in Singapore, they have gone on to provide a myriad of activities to complement their main offering science and now has even expanded to outdoor and adventure camps!

With a camp fee starting from SGD 685, it is an all-inclusive camp – all materials, 2 snacks, lunch, t-shirt, photo, certificate and prizes included and they will provide daily video (the only camp in Singapore that sends you a daily video). I totally appreciate their effort to compile and update the parents on a daily basis of the happenings in camp (most of the photos shared in this blog post is credit to them) so that we can talk about it at the end of the day and share their excitement too! They have also given me feedback of my boys at camp, which I totally appreciate!
